A few weeks ago I was approached by the wonderful folks at Freshly Cosmetics, newly launched in the UK they are a big deal back in their home of Spain. So before I even begin I would like to say a big thank you to them for considering to collaborate with me on this post and to kindly gift me some products to give a whirl.
Let’s get straight into it then. I am going to start with giving out a bit of a background into the company – not because I have to. I WANT TO. I mean, come on this company are doing incredible things, why I hear you ask? Because all their products are Vegan and Cruelty-Free. Mainly, this was the reason I responded to them in the first place but also found a whole heap of great products.
I will be leaving their social links at the bottom of this post so that you are all able to go and check them out!
Out of the two products, I had one definite favourite. But I am going to leave this one till last. Let’s begin with this Rose Quartz Facial Cleanser
! Nope, this is not just a rose-scented product that was the one thing which worried me as I am not a personal rose-scented fan. I would describe this more as having a fruity, fun smell to it. Something I do think is slightly important in my skin routine – cause I want to smell fresh not just feel it. What made this particular product stand out to other cleansers I have tried before it, is it helped to clean my skin but left it feeling hydrated and tight. I would still personally recommend that you use this product after using something such as micellar water to take the bulk of your daily makeup away. But this is still a definite from now on in my beauty cabinet. Little fun thing I enjoyed is a little goes a long way, add a touch and it will lather up perfect nightly skin routine addition. This product retails for £16.00, for this you get a 100ml bottle
Secondly, let’s get to my favorite of the two the Red Velvet Oil Serum
. Wow oh WOW, this product has knocked me off my feet. If you are familiar with my blog, you will be familiar with my ultra-dry skin. When the delivery arrived at my house, I had to get this straight out of the box, because I am highly impatient and had this on my mind ready to try. I got this straight out and tried it on my skin. I was with my mum at the time and her honest words were ‘You’re glowing’, from the FIRST USE. Now, I might have thought I was getting ahead of myself so I did resist writing this post until had utilized this product fully. I didn’t personally use it every single night as recommended, I do change up my nightly routine just because it’s something I enjoy to change up from time to time. Including this product into my routine has had noticeable benefits, I have brighter skin, more hydrated and I feel as if when applying it I am giving myself a serious pamper session. I have been reading up a bit into what ingredients are in this product in case yall were interested. Included in this serum is are various plant oils and extracts, most of which have been derived from natural essential oils or organically farmed! I could rant about this stuff all day if I could, put simply if you suffer from dryness, redness, irritation or just simply want brighter more hydrated skin here is your new skin go-to. As I mentioned for the previous product, this retails at £31.00 you get a 30ml bottle
. It is recommended that you use this product nightly using 3-5 drops peruse. A little bit more pricy – however if you sign up on their website they do give a 15% off code for your first purchase.
Phew, well. This has been a rather in-depth post for your Tuesday evening. I know that it’s been a fun one for me to write. We all love a good throwback to the older styled post I had here on the website. So without further ado, I hope you all have a nice weekend. I have left all the social links for Freshly Cosmetics and to their website – go give them a follow, like I say they are new to the UK market but my my are they going to make a splash sometime soon. If you enjoyed this post – then you are in luck. I have a VERY exciting plan for the next weeks. HINT: its similar to what we have spoken about today but on a bit of a bigger scale.
See you then,
