Hey Everyone,
Well, ouch. It’s been a while. Something which started as me leaving my charger at work, then became me struggling to catch my tail after the weekend, and finally, I got sick. Do I feel like I’ve failed? Yes, slightly. I should be well into my fourteenth day!
Let’s use this opportunity to get back on the right track and welcome new beginnings for this challenge. Rather than giving up, we’re just going to pick up from where we left off. Firstly, I feel as in everything which is happening at the moment. I was poorly. As no shock, a lot of questions I got asked during this time were ‘Do you have Corona’, no. Following advice from my GP, and getting some rest, I am back on my feet and back to my usual schedule. Although during this time, I was very much in two mindsets. Was I happy people were checking in on me? Short answer, yes. It was nice to see that people cared about me. At the same time, I felt targeted. As if people were narrowing down the list of ‘who’s caught it’. I honestly feel like we are in some strange edition of the hunger games.
By now, you’re probably sick to death of hearing the word. Corona. My apologies if you are, but then it wouldn’t be a true 90-day document. We are certainly still miles away from the end of this. After all, it’s the pandemic of the decade. I am going to do my personal best to try to get on with life ‘normally’. The reality, very soon the UK will be in quarantine. Something that’s far from normal, but I choose to try and reflect on the positive side.

If you follow me on Instagram. You’ll have seen my list of ‘things I wished people would follow’. If you are to take anything away from this post it would be this.
- Please wash your hand, using antiseptic soap
- Self-iscolate if you have a fever or persistent cough
- Tell your loved ones who are older or of ill health, to stay home as much as possible. Avoiding all non-essential travel
- Do you have any neighbours or family that might need your help to take them supplies if isolating
- Take care of yourself, vitamins, be healthy
- STOP FIGHTING OVER BOG ROLL!
Sorry, but as I said, that will not be the end of my Corona coverage. But, it’s nice to get the important stuff out of the way.
On a more personal note, I’ve shifted some weight. Five lbs to be precise. If you’re new to following this venture. I only have a few goals and outcomes I would like to take from this. Losing a healthy amount of weight, getting back into blogging, and having a better outlook on the world.
Last night was my first session back at the gym, although I didn’t want to push myself. I ended up going for a 45-minute swim. Mother Harkins, was reading some interesting articles that during this time, swimmings possibly the best option. Washing before and after the pool, along with the chemicals they use for cleaning. For the past couple of weeks, I have been carrying a little supply of hand sanitiser for the gym, just to be on the safe side.

Today, at work, I did try the old stand up where possible and going on a nice lunch stroll. Even if the town was scary quiet.
