Finnnaallly here | The Cornwall Diaries | ELLEKATE

After two days of travelling, we have finally arrived in Cornwall.Well, we shall be staying in the beautiful bay of Falmouth for the next several days and we have lots of plans whilst we are down here. Best to have it all crammed into the next week because I don't believe I could handle that drive for a very long time. (except to get home of course).So. After waking up this morning in the beautiful Bull Inn which was close to Oxford, it was time for the drive down. I took some last minute pictures of the hotel before we left and obviously had some food as well. Th[...]

Anatomicals Product Review | ELLEKATE

Good Morning. If you all follow my social media platforms you will be well aware of my recent delivery from the wonderful Anatomicals. The brand was ever so kind to have sent over three of their products for me to try out for myself and let you all know my thoughts. A couple of weeks on, and I can happily say that these are well worth a purchase, not only on quality but on price. All of these thoughts are my own, I haven’t been asked to say any of this on behalf of the brand but I felt as if this was a one worth sharing.Another wonderful bonus with Anatomicals ar[...]

Goodbye Cruelty │ ELLEKATE

Good Afternoon,Slightly off topic today but I think this is defiantly a subject that I would like to discuss on here. That topic being animal cruelty, and what I'm doing with my personal life to stop all that. Since of around April of this year there has been a real change in attitude of how I feel about certain products and lifestyle choices that not only have been noticed by myself but by friends and family members. Around 2 years ago, I turned Vegetarian. It wasn't a long coming decision although I didn't really ever eat red meat even as a child, it was very mu[...]

Time To Get Fit │ Running the Great North Run

Not a typical post today,But I have decided as of yesterday to begin training for the Great North Run. If you are not from Britain or the North of England for that matter you may not know what is the run. Well, the Great North Run is a 13.1-mile run (Half Marathon) which will begin in the heart of Newcastle, the course will run over the tyne bridge and end at the coast of South Shields. Not for the light hearted, I mean people have been seriously injured or died from this run, however, let's not put a down point on the situation. But for someone like me, this will[...]

New York Fashion Week 2016 │ Photograph

Sadly, I am officially back from New York and reality is beginning to kick back in. I had the holiday of a lifetime and have come very close to some lovely people from my university course who I went there with. Before we get to this post I would just like to say there isn't any real in-depth writing I can do into every single day activity simply because I did way too much in the time that I was there but I will put all my video footage into a nice little youtube upload for you to check out later on this week. This was the first holiday I went on by myself without[...]

Fresh Cut │Hair & Beauty

Like everybody, we all have them times when we get a bit sick of the same old look. Even though it has taken around three-four years for me to grow it to the length that it was. I'm following the trend and gone for the short cut. Mainly because its top trend at the moment, however, I didn't realise just how much I needed it! It is only now that it has gone that I realise just how bad the condition of my end where, plus it's feeling so thick and healthy. Anyways I am blabbering on, I've had five inches snipped off and some layering around my fringe so it holds nic[...]

The Nightwear Before Christmas

A few days till Christmas Eve everybody. Have no plans on what you should do the night before the big day, No worries I have you covered.. I’m getting seriously deep into the Christmas spirit. I have drank far too many Starbuck Eggnog Lattes for a start, in the fear of being without them for another 11 months. For my family Christmas Eve is just as important as the big day itself for mine its even bigger, its my Dads birthday. As a tradition we will normally go out with our rather extensive group of friends for a nice meal, movie or my favourite time was bowlin[...]

Come chill with me.

I think everybody has those months when everything is just go go go! For me that has been this month, if I haven't been working I have been at uni or finishing off deadlines. Probably should be doing that right now however I need some chill time which everybody needs from time to time and I thought I would share how I manage to calm myself down after a long day. I normally start with a little workout, because thought you may not think it working out can help you just release stress, I always feel amazing afterwards. I shall either go to my local gym for a few hou[...]

IM GOING TO NEW YORK!

Today has been quite an exciting day! When we all arrived at the university we heard rumours about a trip to the big apple around the school in February, however after months of waiting and hearing nothing we decided that it wasn't going to happen.... but IT IS! We have just got the confirmation letter sent a few hours ago, and being the mature eighteen year old that I am my parents have decided to let me go ( aka about 6 hours of begging them to let me) No deposits or anything haven't happened yet but I have been holding back basically my student loan just in ca[...]

Edinburgh Adventures

Sunday was a long day coming, For Jacks birthday present I thought it would be nice to take him to the land of the Scotts, I got so excited I ended up blurting it out to him well before I should have... I had got way to excited, sleeping the night before was impossible even thought we had to be up at 6.45! It was a jam packed day of shopping through Princes St., hikes up to the castle, strolls down the royal mile, Derby day blow outs, peaceful pandas and finally hard rock pig outs. But for this blog I just want to let the pictures tell stories.[...]
